Allergenicity reference:PubMed:9862740 Route of allergen exposure:Airway; - rAln g 4 reacted with serum IgE from 18% of pollen-allergic patients tested(n = 122). Patients were allergic to: olive (n = 50), grass (n = 20), birch (n = 12), mugwort pollen (n = 20), and maize (n = 20). - Purified rAln g 4 elicited dose-dependent basophil histamine release in 3 patients tested and immediate type skin reactions in 3 patients tested.
