Background
Route of allergen exposure:Food; Six submects with claimed allergic responses to reduced glycinin of natural 11S albumin of Sichuan pepper were tested and found to have IgE binding to the reduced form of Sichuan pepper. The subjects had IgE binding to 2S albumin of these proteins by western blot and by ELISA_x000D__x000D_Subjects had IgE binding to four proteins, two of similar MW and sequence and two others with IgE binding to compiled 2 S albuminks.
