Varicella-zoster virus gL ORF60 Protein Circular RNA
VAC-RNA-236
Varicella-zoster virus gL ORF60 Protein Circular RNA
Source:In vitro transcribed mRNA was further circularized to make this product as a circular RNA.
Alternative Names:Envelope glycoprotein L (gL)
SKU:VAC-RNA-236-LNP
Product Name:Varicella-zoster virus gL ORF60 Protein Circular RNA-LNP
Product Description:VAC-RNA-236 was encapsulated with lipid nanoparticles through Seattle Genova's LipoX platform.
SKU:VAC-RNA-236
Product Name:Varicella-zoster virus gL ORF60 Protein Circular RNA
Product Description:In Vitro Transcribed mRNA template encoding Varicella-zoster virus gL ORF60 Protein Circular RNAwas further circularized with Seattle Genova's OSTAR technology. The resulting circRNAs are very stable and have low immunogenicity enabling prolonged protein translation in different cells without cellular toxicity.

Gene Alias

Envelope glycoprotein L (gL)

Background

FUNCTION: The heterodimer glycoprotein H-glycoprotein L is required for the fusion of viral and plasma membranes leading to virus entry into the host cell. Acts as a functional inhibitor of gH and maintains gH in an inhibited form. Upon binding to host integrins, gL dissociates from gH leading to activation of the viral fusion glycoproteins gB and gH. {ECO:0000255|HAMAP-Rule:MF_04034}.
